After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe the purpose of the ASCA National Model®
- Summarize the Define, Manage, Deliver and Assess components of the ASCA National Model®
- Discuss how current school counseling activities and results align with the ASCA National Model®
- 4.Identify school counseling activities that don’t align with the ASCA National Model® and the school counselor’s role
- Provide an overview of the three broad results of a school counseling program and how they are measured
- Explain how components of the ASCA National Model® align with each tier of the MTSS structure
The workshop may be adjusted to some extent based on participants’ needs and progress.
