This online ASCA@Home event is designed to help K–12 school counselors explore the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence in education and student support. The two-day program will feature expert-led sessions, hands-on demonstrations and collaborative discussions on practical AI tools, ethical considerations and innovative strategies school counselors can use to better serve students in an evolving digital world. Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the Impact of AI – Explore how artificial intelligence is transforming education and the school counseling profession, including opportunities, challenges, and ethical considerations.
- Develop Practical Skills – Gain hands-on experience with AI-driven tools and strategies that support student success in academics, career development and social/emotional growth.
- Apply AI in School Counseling Practice – Learn to responsibly integrate AI into daily school counseling work to enhance efficiency, personalize student support and strengthen postsecondary readiness.
Attendees who view all the sessions can earn up to 3.2 CEUs/32 Contact Hours. Graduate credit is available for an additional fee (two credits or three credits).
