Changes to Financial Services for SCAs
As announced at Elevate 2026, ASCA is making changes to Financial Services for SCAs. Review below to see what remains and what action is required by each SCA.
What Is Not Changing
- ASCA continues to cover the cost of accounting services.
- SAX Advisory remains ASCA's accounting services provider.
- Existing SAX Advisory contacts remain the same.
- Tax filings for the 2025-2026 fiscal year are not affected by these changes assuming the FY ends by December 31, 2026. If your fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, your tax filing process should already be underway.
Action Required: Tax Filing Provider for FY 2026-2027
Beginning with 2026-2027 Fiscal Year, each SCA is responsible for selecting and paying for its tax filing provider.
SCAs must:
- Confirm SAX Advisory as their tax filing provider for FY 2026-2027, or
- Engage an independent CPA to prepare and file their tax return.
- Notify ASCA once the organization's tax return has been filed with the IRS.
Pricing for FY 2026-2027 tax filing services through SAX Advisory will be shared after October 1, 2026.
Action Required: 501(c)(3) Organizations
All 501(c)(3) SCAs must:
