Promote Student Well-Being with the ASCA Student Standards®

Our children and youth are facing many difficult challenges that greatly affect their physical, emotional and mental well-being. Discover practical strategies to promote student well-being using the ASCA Student Standards: Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Succes®s. Learn to implement quality instruction of specific skills that promote positive mindsets and behaviors through small groups, classroom lessons and individual instruction.

Help your students develop effective learning strategies, self-management and social skills through the art of mindfulness, simple and practical yoga principles, breathwork and more. Gain the knowledge and strategies necessary to teach a growth mindset philosophy to students, helping them develop positive mindsets, belief in their ability to succeed, perseverance and resiliency to enhance school and life success. Explore key concepts to promote lasting well-being and related research-based information to help students develop a sense of purpose and direction leading to student success. Focus on promoting the student mindset of the belief in development of whole self, including a healthy balance of mental, social/emotional and physical well-being by integrating a wide variety of practical strategies for school counselors to use in their school counseling programs.
