Today's school counselors are vital members of the education team. They help all students in academic achievement, career development and social/emotional development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.

• Summarize key components of the ASCA National Model: A Framework for School Counseling Programs
• Discuss the appropriate role of the school counselor in your school and in a school counseling program
• Identify ways you can support your school counselors to help them – and your school – reach the best outcomes
