Learning objectives: After attending Session 1, you should be able to:
- Complete your school counseling program assessment
- Provide an overview of the ASCA National Model
- Conduct a school data review and analysis based on district’s academic, attendance and discipline data
- Complete an annual student outcome goals plan
- Create a closing-the-gap action plan
- Navigate to the ASCA National Model portal
Session 2: Winter, Year 1
- Beliefs, mission and vision statements
- Student standards
- Student competencies/objectives
- Data types
- Closing-the-gap progress
- Weekly time usage
- Weekly calendars
Learning objectives: After attending Session 2, you should be able to:
- Create beliefs, mission and vision statements
- Understand and utilize student standards
- Select, write and/or adapt student competencies/objectives

Session 3: Spring, Year 1
- Data collection and analysis
- Results reports
- Action plans
- Progress check (on goal/closing-the-gap results)
- Annual administrative conference

Session 4: Fall, Year 2

Session 6: Spring, Year 2
- Advocating for program using results reports
- Annual school presentation (goals, three classroom lessons, small group, closing-the-gap)
- Review and reflection
- Looking at RAMP
