The Indiana School Counselor Association awards luncheon took place on Friday, November 18, 2022. More than 650 school counselors from around the state of Indiana came to support this year's ISCA award winners. Currently, the Indiana School Counseling Association presents an Elementary School Counselor of the Year Award, a Middle School Counselor of the Year Award, a High School Counselor of the Year Award, an Administrator of the Year Award, a Supportive Staff of the Year Award, and a $1,000 Womack Scholarship, all presented at the awards luncheon.
The recipients of the Elementary, Middle and High School Counselors of the Year are the finalists for the Indiana School Counselor of the Year, which was the final award presented. The Indiana School Counselor of the Year then goes on to represent Indiana in the American School Counselor Association School Counselor of the Year competition. A few of this year's award winners (pictured below) include the Mental Health and School Counseling Coordinator from Hamilton Southeastern Schools, a previous two-time ISCA Award winner from Hammond, Indiana, and an up-and-coming school counselor from Baugo Community Schools in Elkhart, Indiana.
