First Cohort of Lone Star Gold

We are so excited to announce the first cohort of Lone Star Award GOLD winners!
These outstanding counseling departments demonstrated excellence by developing data-driven, comprehensive counseling programs serving Texas students in the academic, career, and social/emotional domains. Our six gold winners traveled through the progressively rigorous Lone Star Award System and have proudly and completely aligned their counseling programs with the American School Counselor Association’s ASCA National Model. Our six gold winners are now six RAMP candidates that are well on their way to national recognition!

LSSSCA is so proud to announce that Edordu was named an ASCA National School Counselor of the Year Finalist! She traveled to ASCA Headquarters where she met with finalists and participated in final interviews. Best of luck to her, and go, Texas!
