Fall Conference: November 5-7, 2017
The 2017 MSCA Fall Conference, Fearless, is quickly approaching! All school counselors are invited to join us for this year’s conference, which will be held at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach. Click here to register now!Top Ten Reasons to Attend in 2017
10. Conference Activities: Trivia Night, Fitness Power Hour, Conference Project, Dances and more! This year’s activities will ensure plenty of fun with colleagues from across the state.
9. Networking with MACS Members: New this year, the Missouri Association of Career Services (MACS) will join us for the conference and have their own strand of workshops, which all attendees are welcome to attend.
8. Exhibitors: More than 120 exhibitors are expected at this year’s event. Plan to visit the exhibit hall to meet with each of these companies to see what they can offer to you as a school counselor.

MSCA to Elect 3 Members to New Board of Directors
As approved during the 2016 Delegate Assembly meeting, MSCA is moving to a nine-member Board of Directors. The first three of these directors will be elected during the 2017 Fall Conference, November 5-7 at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach. Online voting will open on October 24 on the MSCA website, www.moschoolcounselor.org, and conclude on Tuesday, November 7. Paid MSCA members may vote only once for the three candidates of their choice. The winners will be announced during the Closing Session on Tuesday, November 7. Candidates are Matthew Berry, Jeanine Davison, Nancy Doubrava, Becky Houtchens, Lori Kayser, Linda Meadows and Tosha Todd.For an overview and personal video about each of these candidates, visit the information page on the MSCA website. http://moschoolcounselor.org/about/board-of-director-candidates/.
