We are pleased to announce plans for the 2022 Maryland School Counselor Association (MSCA) Annual Conference – see the newly launched conference webpage. This year's event will take place March 20–21, 2022, at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, Maryland! We have some exciting keynote speakers that you don't want to miss.
We are delighted to be working with the National Center for Youth Issues (NCYI) as our conference planner this year. NCYI helps several state school counselor associations with their annual conferences, and the MSCA Board voted to engage NCYI to work with us on this year's conference. This being said, they are acting as the fiscal agent for the conference, so registrations (mail, fax, scan/email and on-line) will now go through them. You will notice their information is indicated in the Registration section of the conference webpage. There is also a link to their W-9 in that section, in case your system needs it to set NCYI up as a vendor. Register today!
Our Call for Presenters portal is now open and ready to accept applications for proposed breakout session presentations! If you have information you believe would be beneficial to share with your fellow school counselors, we encourage you to apply. Please also forward this link to colleagues you think would make good presenters! The deadline for submissions is December 15. Just FYI, if your application is approved and you accept a speaking position, you'll be able to take advantage of discounted registration rates to attend the conference!
All conference events will take place at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. Standard rooms at the hotel may be reserved at a special conference rate starting at $129 per night plus tax. This rate is valid through February 25, 2022. Reserve your room today!
