As we approach the end of our first quarter, I am reminded of our unity by November’s NJSCA newsletter theme, Collaboration. November’s issue arrives during NJEA’s Annual Convention weekend, our flagship example of New Jersey’s educational collaboration. This year’s virtual NJEA Convention is accessible to everyone, as was the NJSCA Fall Conference on October 1. The Fall Conference featured two of the nation’s leading school counselor collaborators, Robert Jamison and Kara Ieva (please click here for their bios). For anyone interested in taking a first step into online collaboration, I suggest Kara’s Facebook Collaborative. Just click here to get started.
New Jersey’s county school counselor associations are also filled with collaborative activities and numerous professional development opportunities. Please click here to find yours.
Let’s share our experiences and make a collaboration routine part of every day together! I hope you enjoy this newsletter.
