Elementary School Counselor Conference Features Betty White

The Nebraska School Counselor Association is pleased to announce that Betty White will be the featured presenter at the NSCA 2020 Elementary School Counselor Conference on April 3, 2020. With 37 years of experience as a professional educator, White brings a wealth of experience in working with children and adults. She has served as a science teacher, school counselor, special education counselor, diagnostician and behavior specialist. Since retiring in 2015, White works as a trainer and educational consultant. Her true passion is training other counselors and educators as to how to best advantage the people they serve. She has presented at state counseling conferences at all levels anf at numerous school districts and Education Service Centers throughout Texas. Her presentations are engaging, entertaining and provide loads of practical information that participants can use to improve their own performance and help those they serve. The NSCA 2020 Elementary School Counselor Conference returns this year to the Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City on April 3. Registration is capped based on space and our desire to have a conference that has a cozier feel to it. The event sold out last year, so you will want to be sure to register early. Registration opens on January 15 and can be completed on the conference web page.

- 10:10-11:30: Betty White – “Attention, Please – Strategies for Helping the ADHD Child (Labeled or Not) in the Classroom”
- 11:30-112:30: Buffet Lunch (provided)
- 12:30-2:00: Betty White – “Mental Floss – Stress Management and Self-Care”
- 2:00-2:15: Snack break and door prizes
- 2:15-3:15: Betty White – “Mental Floss” continued
